Hi everyone,
I'm a new NeXT owner so bear with me while I get my bearings...
I have degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering so I'm looking forward to working with my new hardware. And, suffice it to say that I've drooled over NeXT machines ever since having seen my first one back when I was still in Jr. High School at a local University.
In any case, I've managed to procure two MonoStation Turbo pizza boxes, one keyboard, and one of the N4000 monitors. My intention is to get at least one of the machines up and running in it's original configuration and possibly restored to it's original glory.
What I don't yet have is a mouse or a monitor cable. Other than Black Hole (who never seems to answer e-mails), does anybody know where I could find these, or does anybody have spairs that they'd be willing to part with? Can I make a monitor cable by simply connecting two DB19 connectors pin-for-pin?
Also, since I'm still figuring out what exactly it is that I've got, are all of the Turbo boxes ADB or is there no specific connection between Turbo and ADB? If I can use ADB hardware, then I'll just borrow a mouse from one of my Macs...
If I can get all of the proper connections set up and everything powers up OK, then I'll start worying about procureing the proper software.

Thanks. I've got the monitor, so it's just the straight-through cable that I need.
Can't seem to find any other devices that use the DB19, so I guess I'll just have to buy a couple of DB19 ends from Mouser or Jameco or something and make my own...
DB19 is hard to find. I used iec.net
Well, I ordered a bunch of DB19 connectors and managed to fashion myself a monitor cable...
Amazingly enough it worked and I didn't short anything out. The monitor is very dim unfortunately though.
Now I just need to find myeslf a copy of NeXTStep and a non-ADB mouse and I'll have resurrected a MonoStation for posterity...
