I have a Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop that I've successfully installed OS 4.2. Things work just fine.
But I have two PCMCIA cards, both supported under OS 4.2. The 3Com 3C589-D and Adaptec Slim SCSI 1460 B card.
I loaded both drivers with Config. But at boot-up, it says "Can't find adaptor". I know the device, cable and SCSI drives all work. So somehow the PCMCIA cards were not recognized.
I see the PCMCIA driver in the Config. So I do not know what the problem is. Is there any other driver I missed? Any resource conflicts? like IRQ?
I've used both cards before with Thinkpad laptops and they worked fine. So the Toshiba PCMCIA is different?
