Hi,
I'm trying to install Rhapsody DR2 on VirtualBox (because I do not suceeded to make it work in VMWare fusion 6).
For the moment, I do not have any sound nor network, and video stuck to SVGA 800x600 b&w.
I cannot find any better video driver for VirtualBox. tried without success the VMWareFB 1.1 driver (that's not a surprise).
Any sugestion ?

I tried Fusion, applying some instruction found on the web to install as single user VMWareFB, without luck (Rhapsody start, but always in panic mode -single user-). After sometime, the disk become corupted and nothing work anymore.

That's interesting. I should launch my VMs again, but I know I have/had NS3.3, OS4.2, and Rhapsody DR1 & DR2 all running with those same drivers. I had mouse and video drivers for all, and network for everything except DR1 (which is too bad, really).

I'm not sure what I did differently, but here is a pic of all 4 running in Fusion 6.0.5 on my iMac running Mavericks.

Nice picture ! I got Rhapsody now working on fusion on my MacBook.
Can you use resolution greater than 1024x768 ? It still crash even with the latest WMwareFB if I try to use 1380x800.

I know I did 1280x1024 in some of them at one point, but right now all of them are at 1024x768. I should try higher resolution again.

i'm now searching for software that run udner Rhaspsody/Openstep/Nextstep. Some Openstep/Nextstep may run, apparently.
I had a big archive of NeXT Software on my G4, but I cannot access it right now.
I also have original disc for Improv, Mathematica, WordPerfect and some other, coming from my various NSLab.
Do you you now some good link to find old commercial software ? Most old link are dead, as those here:

Ah yes rhapsodyos.org is very good. It's what started my motivation to install Rhapsody on my Wallstreets. Doesn't seems to be maintained now though... I've seen some post of the owner here , Racerx . But no recent ones.
Btw, anyone successfully used Fiend on Rhapsody ? There is a page on it on Rhapsodyos.org :
