Did you know your DSP port on the NeXT could be used for something useful? I found out long ago they made a DSP Microphone that would work on the NeXT along with this Soundworks software to record. Now don't ask me now how to use the software but I did test it on my Cube years ago and it did work. Being sold as-is and no warranty, tested about 2 years ago and recorded my voice <grin>. Wish I had a NeXT still to re-test but I don't. Anyway, you will get the mic and soundworks software plus a backup floppy of the software that I made. $100 plus shipping.

Alright you got my attention.
PM sent.
Sale pending for Pentium.
Tom
At this point the sale is complete but for those still curious, once it arrives I'll work on a photographed teardown and putting a video demonstration up on Youtube.
FWIW. Ariel made a few things like this... the Digital Mic, the Digital Ears, and the Ariel ProPort. I've had one of each.
Of course, nothing could possibly beat the board for the cubes!
Has there been any use for an IRCAM board? I know that one person here basically had a cube filled with them but besides bragging rights has anyone used one for anything?
I have an Ariel ProPort that I've never even hooked up...
This has been sold to Pentium. I will let you know when it ships.
