I promised a few people that I would post some photos since well, there are none. :wink:

I'm a bit concerned about the left channel though. Both the VU meter and the LED indicator say there is some form of input but the channel is otherwise totally dead.

Quite a bit of hardware inside, but the only exotic parts seem to be the Motorola 56ADC16 ADC chips, which can still be found on ebay for ~$9.
So it should be possible to build a clone...

it is possible, but we need a bit more information to reverse engineer it
