Greetings,

I have a pallet of old sparc systems that I am looking to sell.  With the thread about running NS/OS on sun hardware, I thought someone might be interested in one for that purpose.  They are mainly 5's and 20's, with a few 10's thrown in for good measure.  I am not sure exactly what the specs are, but they are all complete systems.  I do remember that a few of them has Ross HyperSparc processors, so would not be good for NS/OS, but the rest were plain sun stuff.

If anyone is really interested, I will dig through them and get some specifications.

For which system are you referring.  Was it a sun part, or an upgrade part like from ROSS.  
I do not remember any, but it has been a while since I looked through them.  I know there are dual cpu Ross HyperSparc modules in a few of the SS10's.  The stuff is in an indoor storage unit, so I cant just run in the back and check.  If there is enough interest, I will set aside part of a saturday to go down and do a proper inventory of what is there.

My thoughts were that some people (like me) who do not have all the parts to run NS/OS on black hardware, might want to try it on a sparc.  If there is no interest then I will not bother, as I currently have a SS10 and SS20 pulled previously that I am going to use for myself.

Where are you based?, I've been looking for a decent SuperSparc SS20 pref with internal CD ROM.

Sorry, should have been more specific.

ROSS made dual hypersparc boards. do any of your ss20's have two of the dual cpu boards in them?

As I said, I am not sure exactly.  I am pretty sure that more than one ss20 has a ROSS dual hypersparc board in it, so It would be possible to pull from one and place in another.  They are 125Mhz duals, if I remember correctly.
