I have a NS3.3 VM that ran fine in VMWare Fusion 6, and I think 4 before that. With OS updates (OS X El Cap) I've had to move to Fusion 8 and the VM got updated when imported and NS became crashy and doesn't always boot up.
I can't re-acquire the orig VM source, apparently, and I fear this may be corrupted.
Are others experiencing these issues?
Thanks. Frustrated.

In Fusion you should be able to edit the VM and downgrade the virtual hardware. It's under Settings -> Compatibility -> Advanced options. Set the "Use Hardware Version" setting to something lower. My NeXT-related Fusion VMs all use hardware version 7 under Fusion 6, which supports hardware 10. Can you use hardware version 7 in Fusion 8?
