Lately I've been sharing my keyboards with the keyboard enthusiasts at
http://deskthority.com and I recently share what I know about the NeXT keyboards. From what I have, there are two variations on non-ADB keyboards and one variation of the ADB keyboard.
Does anyone know when the second generation non-ADB keyboard came out and was it for NeXTstations or later Cubes?
Here's my postings for reference and interest for those who may not have known about the different types of keyboards. Just like we get excited about vintage hardware, these guys get excited about key switches (the switch you press when you hit a key).
Any help with history or other variants you may know about is much appreciated. I'd be happy to help spread the information to them (or corrections to what I wrote).

The rev 2 non-adb began shipping with nextstations and 68040 cubes I believe. I'm personally not a fan of them. I prefer the original layout.
I think I have a few other varieties of the US/English non-ADB too, but I'll have to check.
And I think you're right that there's only one of the US/English ADB.
Of course, they did make them for multiple countries/languages. I think I have at least Japanese and German, probably another one or two as well.

Eugh.
Those people.I've never seen people with such raging amounts of stupidity and egoism in my life.
The second rev non-ADB keyboards came out when they refreshed the Cube and introduced the slab.
