I was curious if anyone knows what the piece of music that plays over the "Machine To Build The Machines" video was. Or maybe if it was a custom piece made just for that video. Any ideas? Just curious.

It was a custom piece. Steve wouldn't expect anything less.

Gotcha. Makes sense though. Although he did use known classical music for introductions (Fanfare For The Common Man - NeXT Computer). Still, it's an amazing piece of music.

On a side note, can anyone explain what's going on in this video?

Did he just record over the old narration? Cuz his speed, inflection and syncopation don't seem to match the original narration.

Well that's weird.
It's the really old and low quality video, with a supposedly "virgin" audio track and a new voice dub that's verbatim the original.
I guess the music is available separate somewhere unless they ripped the audio off the higher quality video, edited out or toned out the original voice and the new dubbed voice overlapped it good enough.
