Title: NeXTstation mono turbo with stange video output
Post by: GrafZahl on January 30, 2016, 02:50:20 PM
I recently bought a mono turbo NeXTstation (in addition to my color turbo NeXTstation) and with the help of my brother did finally manage to solder an y-cable. This cable was then attached to my non adb sound box, mouse, keyboard and tft monitor. The cable and computer appear to function sort of. The computer powers up performs the startup sound and boots up normally. Mouse and keyboard work. But for some reason video output looks odd. It looks as if it is inverted somehow. I have tried two different monitors but the result was the same. And even stranger when I moved the window on screen these sort of dark stripes in the text did not move along the window. Has someone seen something like this or knows what is wrong with the setup? Im not sure if the cable quality is really that bad.

Thank you very much.

Did you attach a 150 ohm resistor before the RGB connection on the VGA out?
