There is no real list of products both software and hardware or otherwise of NeXT products that never reach mass production or release. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and try create a complete list of products that didn't make it?
I know of:
Personal Mainframe - pre cube, same everything by for the text on the back
NeXT RISC - didn't complete development because of a law suit by Apple
NeXTStep 4.2 Pre-Release 2
Can't think of much else.
Also does anyone know much about NEXTIME - I've struggled to even find its logo.
Everyone knowledge here is seriously appreciated
They made a few of an external hard drive enclosure called the RHD or Removable Hard Drive that had a tray. I forget the details. Someone sold one on eBay like a decade ago that was serial number 6ish. I'll see if I can dig up photos if I saved them.
