It took me a while to take on the follow-up work suggested from http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3757

So ya, I sneaked in some time across several nights to come up with a slightly bigger version of the LEGO NeXT Cube.  This one is a 12x12x12 construct and able to fit a Raspberry Pi 3 (or 2).

For kicks, I built the latest snapshot of Previous in the Pi and that's shown in the pictures, except that it runs slow as molasses (or maybe that's just because of SDL) -- status bar shows that the emulation runs at 0.3 of the 25 MHz speed of the original cube.  Still, thanks and much appreciation goes to andreas and team for the work they've done on Previous (I wish I'd get enough time to port it to use the native Windows UI instead of SDL2).

Cheers,
pitz

Did you built SDL2 with direct framebuffer access on the Pi? I'm just wondering why you refer to "Windows".

Is there any chance anyone saved these pics?

Edit: never mind -- pics work now.

Is there any chance you have build instructions? :)

How well does a Pi3 run WindowMaker and GNUStep? That would be a cool little development machine if it could.

Works fine for me.  I have long since forgotten most of what I knew about X11, so I don't remember how to switch the window manager on startup; I just kill openbox, kill lxpanel, and start wmaker.
