Hi,
I purchased an new on-demand printed copy of "The Complete Guide to the NEXTSTEP User Environment" by Michael B. Shebanek.
Sadly it came without the diskette. Where can I get it?
TIA

I have a copy of that, I believe with the disk. I'll try to image it when I get a chance next week. Do you know if it's a 2.88mb disk?
That would be very kind. On the back of the book it says it is a 1.4 MB diskette.
So here is a link to the dd image. Disclaimer: there were some bad sectors on the floppy. If this should refuse to work, I can try with a Kyroflux..

Thank you. In the meantime I learned that a floppy image should be downloadable from an official Springer website. So far it is not.
Thanks again, bobo68
Hi pl212,
I tried you dd image. It works apart from the "Drum Sounds" directory (in "Sounds") which seems to corrupted. The Workspace Manager chocked while copying it (in fact it logged out - ouch). The shell says ". not found" if I try to list the contents of the directory.
I'd like to try again: is somebody able to provide a fully working image of the diskette?
I recently acquired a ton of NeXT literature. I'll look and see if I have the book and disk.
