recently picked up a mono next workstation with monitor, kb and mouse. I notice that 3 caps seem to be holding but 2 are doa. Any special place to order these capacitors or suggestions. I figure I need to get the bad ones replaced or would it be better to replace all of them at once. I have sites i have used but figure i would check before jumping in Tks ahead of time
For electrolytic capacitors make sure to match not only the size, capacitance, and voltage rating, but also the ESR (equivalent series resistance) or impedance, particularly for capacitors in the power supply section. Get capacitors with a 105 C temperature rating, too. I'd order from either digikey.com or mouser.com if you are in the US. Good brands are Nichicon, United Chemi-con, Panasonic, and Rubycon. Other brands may not have good quality control and could expire early.
To add to this, I would also recommend replacing them all at the same time.

Hi, I am getting link doesn't exist. Is this doc still avail? i am trying to revive my turbo color station that no longer power on (yes have replaced battery) Thanks!
