Hi, I'm trying to install Rhapsody 1.2v3 on this machine. I'm using a 2 GB IDE drive set to master and the first installer when you're booted into OS 9 sees it, but when I restart, it doesn't detect it after the language selection is done. I've updated the hard disk drivers and stuff to no avail.

Did you use the OS 9 portion of the installer to initialize the hard drive?

Yes, I now have it working, but only on a 500 mb hard disk, so there's not really room for anything. Is there some way I can get the other HD to work?
What brand of drive is it? Rhapsody is pretty picky of what hardware it'll work with. I would try yet another hard drive.

Okay, I just fixed it, but it was really weird. I'll tell you what I did so anyone else in my situation can do it as well.
Installing Rhapsody on an Incompatible/Non-Working w/ Rhapsody Hard DriveSet compatible hard drive as master, set incompatible as slave. Format both and make sure they have updated disk drivers. Partition the incompatible drive as Mac OS Extended. Tell the live cd installer to install on your incompatible disk. Then, for some reason, the Rhapsody installer will work fine with it. I have no idea why, but anyways, it works. Some people have also said that the partition you select to install Rhapsody on must be 1 GB or under, but this is simply not true, at least in this case.
