I have a N2000 that won't close - seems like the latches are broken off where there would be a hook to grab the release mechanism on the lid.

Has anyone fixed this before?

Same here: at the moment I have placed two heavy books to keep it closed

I ended up putting black velcro on both sides and using it to keep it closed when mine did that.

Hello: I have the original locking unbroken latches, so I have a stack of NeXT laser printers in various conditions with no logos. If you want the whole printer for parts including the latch how about $50 each covers boxing and the shipping in the us I'm guessing $45 so $95 I also have the paper trays intake including legal size new old stock for $15 , exit trays $10  ,printer cables $10 , I can probably disassemble and remove just the latch for $25 and shipping usps $13 us priority and $25 international. New old stock intake rollers $15 .... I even some laser cartridges mostly full for $30

Thanks, Rob. It might be worth pursuing to see if there's a 3D printing solution to be found.

I found the broken latch inside, and I've had good luck with Plastruct  in the past. We'll see what happens.
