Hello NeXT Community: I always enjoy talking to my customers and one of them Bryan T. told me about a cool idea
http://ataripodcast.libsyn.com , they have a website for old Atari programmers to tell there story on an half hour interview style broadcast .
I think it would be fun to do the same for NeXT , I'm fairly sure with the forum members here we would be able to set up an additional link on this site for the podcasts. I know so much cool stuff has happened on the NeXT that it would be fun to track down and you all star for a half hour talk !
Any thoughts or takers on how to make it happen?
Anyone have experience with podcasts?
How difficult is it to set up a podcast ?
I know once I get going it may take awhile to talk about even a fraction of what I've heard from customers.
I know a lot of the forum members have done some amazing things .... you know who you are....
I would have to start with Nitro and how he came up with the idea to start this forum, even though he doesn't know it yet lol.
If all goes well with your help we will get this rolling in this new year 30th anniversary of NeXT.
Best Regards Rob Blessin

great idea
It's super easy to set up a podcast. I wrote a set of PHP scripts about 10 years ago that I still use today, for podcasts I generate for myself. I don't subscribe to any podcasts other than the ones I build myself. Crazy, yes, I know.
I've never used libsyn.com for podcasting, but I'm sure it can't be very difficult.
If we don't want to go the libsyn route, I would be happy to host it on my VM at DigitalOcean.
Also, I just found this:
http://www.podcastgenerator.net/That's a much nicer interface than the podcasting system that I wrote.
An epic solo quest of endurance and heartbreak....
if, after all the compiler hours, I'd managed to build a working OpenSSL with tls 1.2 on my blackhardware ... I would have happily told you all about it.
