Title: GNUstep section on the Forums.
Post by: Rob Blessin Black Hole on March 29, 2018, 04:03:51 PM
Hello NeXT Community: I've been talking with Greg Casamento the lead maintainer of GNUstep for 10 years  and thought that maybe we would add a GNUstep section below the Apple section to the NeXTcomputers.org forums as there are a lot of parallels  and they currently are with out a forum !  There will probably be possibilities of cross platform apps as a lot of the GNUstep guys are seasoned NeXT and other developers and many are already NeXTcomputers.org members . Any thoughts?  I'll also run it by NITRO as he will make the final call.    Greg is also going to help me completely update the blackholeinc.com site for me , a much long overdue upgrade , if anyone else has ideas on how to upgrade my site and perhaps this one please let me know , we are listening!
Best Regards Rob Blessin

Great idea for GNUStep section.  WindowMaker - a great wm. Fond memories.  Was my primary wm for years. Only in 2016 did I switch to i3 for keyboard based tiling.

Upgrade the site: My only tip: make sure will fallback to render in Omniweb (and Netscape 4.x :)

No objection, would be interesting to hear about work and projects from further a field.

I missed this thread when it was posted. I was going through some serious health issues at the time and the old forum software had notifications turned off. Please feel free to send me a PM and we can talk about getting the forum set up. Thanks.
