I think you're due for some new caps and check for bad solder joints while you're at it.

Ordered all of the caps from various sellers on Amazon. Mouser did not have them in stock. Pulled out the boards and already cleaned them.
Going to see if I can work on it this week but it might be a week before I can spend the time.
Hopefully I will have excellent results.
All of the caps have been removed. Got a new hako for-301 and it was great.
Hello Eric: The new Caps should clear it up , I'm not sure why it is doing that in the first place , my guessi s failing caps. The cosmetic condition of that monitor is amazing as usually there is at least a scratch or blemish or sticker , heck the one I'm working on now looks like it was stored in an attic , I've finally cleaned the dust off to where I'm not sneezing lol .
The Professor had it in storage at CU for more than 20 years and they only used the 2 systems for a semester as part of a grant. I'm hoping the hard drive spins up as I want to check out the voice synthesis software they created , a talking NeXT lol and see if curses me out or is happy with what I'm doing.
Best regards Rob Blessin
What is the name of the voice synthesizer software? Is it on the images you sent me?
Help. I pulled all of the caps off the video board. I have revision-14 and do not know the value for c200. Does anyone have the list of for 623-855-14. Just want to double check before I solder.
I don't know , I have version 623-855-15 board which I'm guessing is close to your rev. I can take a picture of the caps just need to know which area you need me to focus on. Best regards Rob Blessin
It's right next to the connector to the tube yoke. C200
Also across from the rca video in jack.
R98 is below it
Just to double check all of my caps can you take some close images of all of the caps that show the values and email it to me. Thanks!!!
Hello Eric: 22Mf 50V and we solved it ..... ding ding ding ...
