Owning a NeXTstation for some months I am about to get a clearer picture of black non ADB hardware at least. As far as I realize I have one of Rob's NOS bottom half ADB soundboxes which has been converted to deliver an additional non ADB keyboard connector. And I am using a home made Y cable to get it connected to my nice black BenQ912 LCD. Some questions evolve:
1) Can I use this SoundBox and the Y-cable to connect a NeXTcolorstation to the same LCD ?
2) Can a NeXTcube (25-040) use this SoundBox and the Y-cable too ?
3) Can a NeXT N4000A CRT be connected with the NeXTstation with a direct link cable whereas my keyboard and mouse plugs directly into the N4000A delivering the sound in mono via the N4000A?
4) Is that monochrome linking cable ever the same no matter if you connect a NeXTstation or a NeXTcube to the N4000A ?
5) Is there any easily feasible way to deliver NeXtcolorstation video output to the B&W N4000A connecting the keyboard and sound at the same time w/o a SoundBox ?

### You can use the sound box but you need our different custom Y Cable $75 with 13W3 connector , mono stations and cubes use DB19

### Yes you can , if you have an early model 152 power supply you also need our "Brians" load board which simulates monitor load for $35 later model 983 do not need the load board

### Direct Link Cable ?= NeXT Monitor 18" DB19 to DB19 cable, yes sound card is in the monitor .

### yes the same cable 3 versions of cable length 18", 6 foot and 9 foot , 2 versions of Cable Non ADB only and dual compatible ADB and non adb , these actually power the monitor up as well :)

#### No a NeXT Mono Monitor won't work with a NeXT Color Station
