Hi all,
today I picked up the (very well packed) NeXTCube from Rob Blessin from the local post office (after a nerve-racking journey - it took more than three weeks from Fort Collins/Colorado to Frankfurt/Germany).
After a first shock (the Cube won't boot), I discovered that the SCSI2SD SD-Card was not correctly inserted, the cube finally booted up fine and I am very happy to get my hands on my first Cube (my fourth Next machine).
A dream came true :-)

Hello Rob,
As I understand, to use the cube with my LCD, I need the load board.
I tried booting up the cube on my LCD first, but after pushing the power button, the cube instantly switched off. Klick...
Please send me the load board as announced. Thank You.

Unfortunately no MO drive, but SCSI2SD which is working great.
I want to test a Fujitsu MO drive or a Syquest cartridge disk drive in the near future.

congrats on your shiny new cube. I hope you enjoy it.
Rob is a great source for NeXT stuff. I got mine a couple of years ago also very well packed. However, its journey from Colorado to Garching was only a few days.
I use a external Fujitsu MO and it works great.
