I'm posting this message from my new NeXTstation running at a blistering 25Mhz. It took me a good 5-10 minutes to navigate here, but it actually works. Completely impractical, hopelessly slow, but MAN, THIS IS FUN!
Congratulations, Bill, from your sleek, modern self running Catalina on the latest Mac powerbook in glorious color.
I may be faster, and I am silent compared to your jet engine fan, but I don't have half the charm that you do.
I actually use my TurboColor almost exclusively for reading/posting on this site. Though the UI of this site is no longer anywhere as sleek as previous iterations when viewed with OmniWeb 2.7b, I've been using that browser for so long that I can get around with it rather swiftly.
If you want to try something interesting, get CubX-Window (X-Windows server for NextStep, at
http://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Software/NEXTSTEP/Apps/X/ , license key is in the README) and display your modern WWW browser over to your NeXT box - a real hoot...
Then get an account with a USENET server (www.eternal-september.org is a good one - all text and only text USENET, the way it was & should be) and explore it with Alexandra.app. And gopherspace (the info system that ruled the roost, along with FTP, before Tim B-L & his NextStep-developed WWW new-fangledness) with Gopher.app (Gopher ver. 1.3.3b) - start from gopher.floodgap.com.

Thanks so much, crimsonRE, I was hoping to get back on Usenet, and had no idea about CubX. This is excellent!
@BillAnderson, i'm happy for both of you.
@CrimsonRE, thanks for the X11 pointer, i couldn't find an implementation.
Checking in from my Intel whitebox running OpenStep 4.2!
