Current LCD options for Monostation

I need to come up with a functional display adapter for my mono nextstation 25Mhz 040.

This converter box looks interesting. Has anybody tried these yet?

Another possible option is yanking the soundboard out of a N4000 monitor and building a cable? This display spent years powered on and is super dim.

Other suggestions?
