Hello all, I'm looking for a licence for SoftPC 4.1 that runs on my white box. Earlier releases of SoftPC were for black hardware only. I already have the software, I just need the licence key. I don't know the status of this originally commercial software, whether it's abandonware or not. If it's not, I'm happy to pay for it.

this might become a bit of a problem. Licenses for SoftPC 4.x on white hardware are hardware bound and as far as I know Insignia, the company which developed SoftPC, sold the product line to FWB which just vanished around 2005.
So even if someone out there has an old license it is of no help due to the hardware binding.

Thanks for the information. I suppose I'll do without the licence. Is there any way to reset the 30 day trial period at least?
