Anyone have a PCjr, they want to get rid of, or know someone who might be.  There does not appear to be much on ebay here in the usa, so I figured I would ask here.  It does not have to be perfect, as long as it works and doesnt look too bad.  Will take pieces if that is all someone has, such as a keyboard, AC adapter, etc.

After learning simple basic programming on my TI99/4a (which I still have), my first "real" programming was done on the jr.  I still have some of the disks and cartridges, I found while "cleaning", which got me thinking about it.

This is the problem with "commodity" PCs... because everyone had them, they were considered worthless when they became out of date. As a consequence these systems were all thrown away... making them almost harder to find than old alternative systems these days.

Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me!  I was just in my parents basement talking about what to do with that thing!  I got it from an old guy I helped out and I didn't want to say no when he tried to give it to me.

Unfortunately, I *thought* I gave it away with most of the other stuff that came with it, so all I have is the CPU... at least I think that's what it is.  I really haven't inspected it, as it's sitting on top of an upright freezer.  When I go there next week I'll pick it up and take some pictures for you.  You can have it for whatever it costs to ship it to you.

Great news to hear that, I had a feeling that someone here might just have one stuffed in a corner somewhere.  I guess this is good carma to even out the fact that my "new" Indigo2 does not want to work.  Looks like at least a bad hard disk, and possibly the flexible internal scsi ribbon as well.

I have an old Indigo 2 if you need parts, that I got from Berkeley Systems when they went belly up for free, let me know what exactly you think is wrong and for the price of shipping, it can be your's..

Yea, been watching those, especially the one with the basic cart, as I managed to misplace mine sometime over the years.

The front.  Sorry, it's missing the logo! :-(  That dirt is actually dust, so it brushes off.

Thought that was a couple of memory boards, and a printer board as well.  I guess with that many boards it needs an extra power source.

I want it, want it, want it, want it, want it, want it, want it... ;)
