Title: Panic upon check disk

Hi,

I am back with another question. My new to me NeXT was the one in Japanese I picked up a few weeks ago. I've now added a SCSI2SD card from BHI. The problem is that it will sometimes load and sometimes not. I get a PANIC prompt when the boot process gets to "Checking Disk" or when I try to turn off power.

I've linked below two images of the PANIC. One was booting from the internal drive and the second is from the SCSI2SD.

With a full DD copy back to the SD card, the NeXT seems to boot. However, at that point when I shutdown I still get the PANIC prompt.

Appreciate any help or guidance.

Thanks

1) make sure you have the latest scsi2sd firmware installed
2) random cpu errors like this can often be attributed to bad capacitors on the logic board.

Thank you. It is the latest SCSI2SD firmware. Same error happens when I try to boot from the known good internal hard drive. At this point, I'll need to get the board recapped and see if that fixes the error. Appreciate the help.
