I keep getting a kernel panic on my cube after finally installing the 3.3 patch set and 3.2 develpoer patch. it hits when the system gets to "starting local services".. any suggestions??
Can I roll it back?
Is there an Irix like "autoconfig -v" command to manually re-build the kernel?
I don't know, if a patch can be removed but have you checked where exactly the panic happens? You could watch the console while booting up, when you boot in verbose mode (should be a switch in the boot monitor to be set).

Looks like reimaging the system is in order as it has been quite a while since it got a clean wipe...
