Folks
Newbie here - so bear with me :-)
Have been gifted a Cube (N1000) and a MegaPixel Display (N4000)
But - No video cable!
Where can I buy one or do I need to make one?
All advice welcome
Best regards
Brian
Folks
My original message should have been titled 'Video' rather than 'Viseo' - but then you all knew that:-)
My Cube and MegaPixel display are sitting on the bench - and looking really sad as they can't talk to each other.
Please - can someone please make their day?
What cable do they need to talk to each other?
Can I make one?
Can I buy one?
Brian
Yeah, you can make one. You'll need two DB19 male connectors, which Rob Blessin sells on eBay for about $10 a connector, plus you'll need at least a 12-conductor cable (pin 7 is NC and pins 13-19 are all GND, so you can connect them all with a single jumper wire), preferably shielded, ideally individual conductor shielded.
Then just match pin number to pin number - no convoluted crossover wiring at all. A metal or 3D printed shell for the connectors would serve you better long-term, though.

Many thanks for the reply and content
Apologies for the delay in getting back to thanking you.
Will get all the bits and start soldering
