Hello,
I'm the original owner of a NeXTStation slab, purchased at my university bookstore in 1991. I've got the slab, the megapixel display, keyboard, mouse and laser printer. I have the original boxes as well. In addition, I've got an IBM scsi CD-ROM drive. I've also got WordPerfect for the NeXT, along with various next magazines, catalogs, etc. IIRC, I upgraded the RAM as much as possible (20MB?). The internal hard drive was the small one and is original (105MB?).
The last time that I tried, the machine did not turn on. I have no idea whether there are bad caps, bad RTC battery, etc. The machine was never dropped, dinged, or anything like that. At some point the mouse quit working and I did the old hack of adapting a PS/2 mouse for the machine. The machine has been stored for 15+ years. The printer and display worked when the machine was stored.
I would be delighted for it to go to an enthusiast who could get some use out of it. I'm in Atlanta, GA and would prefer that someone pick it up locally. I have no idea what a fair price for it would be - so please make a suggestion.
Thank you very much!
Ben Chapman

Rob,
I remember you from way back in the day - I almost think that I bought something (WordPerfect?) from Black Hole. Sending you an email.

This has been sold to Rob. Thanks, everybody - next up (separate post) will be some NextWorld magazines.
