Running in OPENSTEP, whenever I try to open a web page with OmniWeb the contents of the webpage are downloaded but not opened in the browser. They are instead opened in edit.
Any help to fix this is appreciated!

as far as I remember it has to do with the string extension used in the URL. OmniWeb only understands ".html" (and the like). Modern (> year 2000 ;)) URLs do often not end with ".html" and OmniWeb will treat unknown extension as a "text"-download. Not sure if this is totally the case, but think I had the same issues many years ago.
I can not remember if there is/was a workaround (like file type to app mapping, force text as HTML, ...).
Anyhow I wonder why you do not use the latest Version of OmniWeb?
