This Xserve G5 is still running after 15 years... and at least as noisy as it was back in 2005!
That's very cool. I have a few things in the museum too, but I've been trimming back, and at this point I doubt much of it works.
Those looked so cool in the rack compared to the HP/Dells at the time.
myself owning a Power Mac G5 at the time, I was so jealous of the BeBox blinken lights!
I've heard of people replacing the fans with quieter ones -- it's almost sacrilegious. The metal power button and fan ramp-up makes it feel like you're starting a spaceship.
Xserve G5 holds a special place in my collection: the space heater

Yeah, some confused people from the office next door who wanted to check if everything was ok when I tested the G5 Xserve outside of our server room :).
One more toy, since a friend posted a picture of his machine on Twitter this morning... this is a SparcStation Voyager running OpenStep next to its grandson... Beautiful machine, just a bit heavy :).
Things are slowly improving in my new apartment :). I'll have to start fixing Megapixel monitors soon...
I need to do this, then I can tell my wife all my NeXTs are art.

It's amazing that the Cubes fit this standard IKEA shelf so neatly - it's an Expedit (which was replaced by the new Kallax model some years ago)... there's also a 5x5 version of that shelf, but where can I find the additional 21 Cubes? :D
...and one more, this time a TurboColor slab in my office. It wasn't easy to find an LCD screen that can do sync on green (this one is a Fujitsu B24W-5).
