I missed the sad news a month ago and only learned about this today as I was searching for a book.
Nick Tredennick, one of the developers of the Motorola 68000, passed away last month:

Among other innovations, he introduced the flowchart method for logic design. His textbook on the flowchart method can be found at archive.org (
