Hi NeXT folks! I recently rebuilt my home network, and now my trusty NeXT TurboColor can't get back online for some reason. I've followed this guide (
http://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Docs/TjLs_Cable_Modem_Guide.pdf) for setting up a home LAN connection and I'm *so close* to getting it working. In my router configuration (I'm using an eero mesh network), I've assigned the NeXT machine the IP 192.168.7.40.
With the settings you see in this screenshot (
https://i.imgur.com/Xe0xIqL.jpg), I can ping my router (192.168.4.1) from the NeXT machine, but I cannot ping anything else (including other devices on my home network like my MacBook Pro at IP 192.168.7.244). I've added my DNS servers (just the public ones Comcast provides) to the /etc/resolv.conf file too, if that matters.
What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any tips!

Quick update: I got it working! All it turns out that I needed was to re-assign the NeXT's IP address from 192.168.7.40 to 192.168.4.40 in my eero router - once I did that, everything started working as intended.
Whew!
