Hey all,

I recently thought it would be fun to try an old operating system.
So I downloaded NeXT on my Windows, and after 10 hours of trying to get Previous to work I gave up and downloaded it on my Macintosh.

When I boot Previous, I get stuck on the monitor screen. I am unsure how to access the actual computer itself.

I have tried typing 'c' to continue, but that just reloads the monitor.

Thanks!

Did you install Previous first then also install or point to the rom file on the previous configuration page also the scsi hard drive image ? Did you install the NeXTSTEP operating system with in previous ? I made a video https://youtu.be/vr0-f04B1no

Thanks mate, you're a legend!  :)

However when I try to boot with the discs you had inserted, it displays 'bad version' as you can see:

If you type bsd -y at that NeXT prompt and press enter what happens ?  Have downloaded and installed the NeXTSTEP operating system under the previous app ? https://archive.org/details/nextstep3-3dev
