Hello NeXT Community: As many of you know and have been purchasing hardware from reuseitjax on eBay. it has been a mixed bag for me. I've helped a lot of buyers on this stuff as they have been mixing non adb and adb stuff in their listings creating chaos for newby's. A lot of Reuseitjax NeXT stuff is plain DOA and yet other NeXT stuff works and is a bargain, whilst some reuseitjax NeXT stuff is crap and or way overpriced. I bit on a lot of 6 NeXT 4000A and 4000B Monitors for $750 , gambled on it and I figured I might do ok if I can tune them up. I Did not take into account the "Part's" in the description ment non working crap fest lol fer $750 lol or I would steered clear. In fact I asked and they said that all 6 powered up , they did indeed lol however they did not say no video, WTF , that would be important to me and probably you when buying monitors especially for Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and Shipping.
At any rate more arts worst case scenario.....
I have 2 of the Reuseitfax 4000A's, so the cosmetics appear good , so I'm thinking it may be the cut off adjustment is out of wack or the brightness control is turned down or bad caps.
Brian or anyone I'm not sure if you have done a caps overhaul on a 4000A with replacement caps parts numbers .

Also has anyone figured out the Monitor stand adjustments ? I'll elaborate, if you have ever removed a NeXT 4000 or 4000A Monitor Stand from the CRT , their are adjustments to control tilt forward and back and tightness , Sony could have done a solid with a simple icon or even instructions on the factory manuals :)

Besides the soundboard the internals are 95% the same. The cap values are the same but you may need +/- a couple of the smaller ones. Open them up and look for loose/damaged neck boards on the tubes.
On it thanks , I'm in NeXT 4000A dust bowl storm which may have caught fire in one of them at some point!
