I've enough old floppy disks to last me for the rest of my life, it's just a matter of organizing what I 'want' to keep and reformatting the ones that are 'irrelevant'.
Same here, I have an old paper grocery sack of floppies that need to be organized. :)
I don't have that many left. [Glances around computing cave, counts 9 boxes in view, knows there's a cardboard box with more elsewhere] Hmmmm, maybe I do...
Got my fair share of floppy disks being an Amiga owner when growing up. I never really needed a big hard drive on my Amiga, for my A1200 40mb is the minimum and that would have an Assembler, Cygnus ED, Deluxe Paint...
I would be happy with 120Mb, 512Mb would be very big, 4Gig I don't know what I would store on it, maybe use it as a BBS.
I remember finding it harder to get Double Density disks at the beginning of 2000 in the stores. Now music CDs are disappearing as well here in New Zealand because my car is from Japan and goes from 70Mhz-90Mhz to 88Mhz-107Mhz which all the .NZ FM stations use.
