Does anyone know where I can purchase memory modules for a 25 Mhz  68040 Cube.  I currently have 8 Mg's, and want to purchase more.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Guy,

I've been purchasing 25Mhz Cube ram from M.C. Howard Electronics on eBay and it works well.  Here's a link to one of their current auctions for Cube ram.

http://cgi.ebay.com/4-MEG-60NS-30-PIN-SIMMS-NON-PARITY-SET-OF-4_W0QQitemZ110048762416QQihZ001QQcategoryZ3690QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If you want to purchase a larger quantity of ram you can e-mail them and they will set up a buy-it-now auction on their eBay store, which will save you money on shipping. All of the memory that I've received from them is low profile, so it clears the Cube hard drive cage.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply.  I have copied the following from the Ebay link you have provided.  Is this the correct memory for my 68040 cube.  I want at least 40 Mg's.  I have the original 8 Mg's currently installed.   If I were to purchase (2) of the following described Simms, would I be able to add these to my current, and have the 40 Mg's.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge, for I am really not familiar with the Cube's inside.   Thanks again

If you plan to keep your current memory then you'll probably want to match it (parity with parity or non-parity with non-parity).  I've had trouble mixing parity memory with non-parity, but others have gotten it to work.  Do you know if your existing memory is parity or not?  You can distinguish the memory types by the number of chips on each memory stick.  Non-parity 30 pin memory has either 8 chips or 2 chips per memory stick and 30 pin parity memory has either 9 chips or 3 chips per stick.  M.C. Howard sells parity and non-parity memory for the same price.

Each M.C. Howard eBay auction is for a quantity of four memory sticks at 4Mb each, so two auctions should fill your eight remaining memory slots (32Mb), giving you a total of 40Mb of ram.
Hope this helps.

I have used the information you have given, and ordered the full 64 MG's memory from  M.C. Howard.  I should be receiving it by 11/07/2006.  Thank you very much for the valued reply.
