Hi All,
There is a project to reimagine (I guess thats the right way to say it) the Commodore Amiga A4000D.
Project link:
https://bit.ly/43RjXxqI've just got my bare board and all the SMD and other componets to build it. I'm documenting on Instagram for any of you that are interested in such things, thanks!

Good to see other Amiga fans here, I was kinda hoping this was a post to port NS to Amiga.
I've seen posts on Amiga news groups about a beta mach kernal being ported to the Amiga but not much more than that.
Hi there!
Sorry to hijack this thread and for probably being a n00b but is it possible to read Amiga formatted floppy disks on a NeXT?
Cheers!

Highly unlikely as Amiga had a custom 880kb format that could not be read on PC 720KB. I remember towards the end (Windows XP), if you had two floppy drives you could dump Amiga disks to .adf images, I'm not to sure how that works.
But if you want to be able to list files on a Amiga disk image (.adf, .adz, .dms) that could be something different and would require a program (I don't know if one exists on NeXT).
Hi pTek!
Thanks for your reply :)
On Amiga, you can install different "devices", which act like drivers and, for example, read (low-density) PC DOS disk. I wonder if NeXTstep offers a similar mechanism, even if not such a "driver" for Amiga formatted disk exists?
Cheers!
