Do USB mice work OK when used with a USB-PSII dongle like the ones supplied with M$ opticals? or am I better with a proper PSII mouse, for that matter is the mouse jumping problem sometimes seen, present on serial mice?
I'm using a USB mouse with a PS2toUSB converter. It's working ok. From time to time, the mouse hangs after booting and I have to reconnect the mouse to reset the mouse driver in OS/NS. This could be a problem with my KVM switch, but I never had this problem with an older "real" PS2 mouse. But it might also be a problem with the mouse itself. So, generally, it works.
