All my models are scaled 1:2.
It has been very quiet around my projects in the last few months, but I'm back at it again. Both the NeXTcube mini and the MegaPixel Display are making progress! The model for the cube is ready. Now I just have to print all the parts and then take care of the software (NeXTSTEP on Previous).
Quote from: eagle on January 26, 2024, 06:29:34 AMI still would like a raspi NeXT case...
My NeXTcube mini model is made for a RPi. Since I use so-called riser cards for the boards, which are slotted into the case, an adaptation for RPi 4/5/x or RockChip etc. is very quickly done. The board that I am currently using for testing is a Waveshare Dual Gigabit Ethernet Board (
https://www.waveshare.com/product/raspberry-pi/boards-kits/compute-module-4-4s-cat/cm4-dual-eth-base.htm?___SID=U) for a Compute Module 4.
As already mentioned, here you'll find live renderings of:
* the MegaPixel Display (

* the NeXTcube mini (

The renderings update automatically when I make changes.
My plan is to sell these models. If you are interested in one of these (NeXTcube mini, MegaPixel Display), then you can register here as potential buyer (

In this post on Mastodon (

Well, that's enough information for the moment. I would like to invite you to follow me on Mastodon (

Today I finished the very first three test prints of my NeXT MegaPixel display. And oh boy... the middle part (that one with the ribs) is a nightmare for FDM printing! Horrible post processing getting rid of the support material! This is why I'm thinking of buying a resin printer. However, what do you think?
