I  just bought this adapter cause the price and shipping is right. Just hope it works.

Also bought a SCSI 1 to SCSI 2 cable so I can connect an Apple 300 cdrom drive.

Once I get them I'll report back.

I would ahve preferred a BNC connector on the monitor end but it'll do.

Does your monitor support sync on green?

Yes, and it has both 15pin and BNC connectors, and autosensing. Its an Iiyama Vision Master 17, it's a multisync.

The total cost for the adaptor and shipping was under $Can20.

My color slab is up and working with this adaptor.  My IIYAMA Visionmaster17 as well as a NEC 4D worked with it. Seems like an ideal solution for replacing those dead or dying Megapixel color monitors.

On top of that is the price US$5.10 and a nonextortive shipping price. I have no connection with them tho they are reasonably close to where I live (in midwest North America distance is somewhat like dog-years- about 800mi. in this case). I don't know how much stock of these items they have. A SCSI 1 to SCSI 2 cable was also similarly priced. Fast response.  I received my items in less than a week after my paypal cleared.

Woopee ! I now have a color slab and a Mono Turbo working thanks to the help of the forum. My next step is to install the Next Step 3.3 and patch into the Color slab only, for now, since one of the members mentioned that the Vers 2 on the Tubo slab is somewhat rare. Possibly I could clone the mono system and then upgrade the primary HD to 3.3

Thanks all.
