Why back away? If we wish peace in this world then we must behave in a peaceful way. It's about our own morals and how we look at others, either love, hate or indifference. I see a lot of love in this letter, it's excellent and has hit some very high points of personal interaction and gratefulness that humans are forgetting exist.
Computers aren't the enemy but they can be if used as such.
It comes down to what's in our hearts. No tool can hurt us if we have good hearts. A shovel can be used for lots of things, it can help create a garden or can be used to bludgeon someone in the head. Morals of the individual decide that.
Anyway, I think it's a very enlightening document.
There's some seriously paranoid fantasy there. Not enlightened in the least.
I'll just suggest that we all have our perspectives. That doesn't mean we know or don't know but it does mean we should keep an open mind.
Nobody has all the answers in this day on any one topic and yesterday's fantasy can sometimes become today's truth, something very good to remember.
