Hello all,
I recently give a try to a Zuluscsi card that I had for an Amiga (the RPI2040 big board version) with nextstep 3.3 installed, it works, but it is awfully slow, is there any special configuration that needs to be setup in the ini file or something else ?
Thanks for any help! :-)

Hi @alow2004.  Yes indeed, there are a few things you can do to speed things up.

1.  What kind of SD card are you using?  Something 'high endurance' is a great start to getting a little more performance out of your SD card solution.

2.  Reformat your SD card with SD Card Formatter [https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/].  This is more or less an official formatter from the organization that dictates standards for SD cards.  It will format your SD card as "FAT".  If you use drive images that are greater than 2GB, use this first, then format using your tool of choice.  ** Be sure to copy everything off your card before doing this! **

3.  Copy files back one by one, not in bulk.  For whatever reason, if things become fragmented, that'll make things slow as molasses on a January day.

4.  Use the attached zuluscsi.ini file.  I've put this together for myself and it made quite a difference.

Give this a try...hopefully these suggestions and the .ini file will help you out.

Jason.
