Title: Using DD to strip excess bits off padded IMG files

trying to install Adobe illustrator and while disk1 appears correct, 2 and 3 appear to be the incorrect size. In the past I've run into downloads where several bits were padded onto the end of disk images and I'm wondering if that's the same here. Unfortunately, I can't find the DD command here to strip those bits off to try see if that fixes the issue or not.

Pointers to the post or a clue appreciated.

Thanks!

I found an alternate source for that package but the basic idea remains, so for future reference?

Thanks!

User @cuby helped me. Here is a link to the thread. (https://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/index.php?msg=29708)

Edit: @wlewisiii Did you end up getting this to work for yourself? If so what was the command line you used? I've used /bin/dd in two scripts (used /bin/bc now to patch two binaries on NS3.3: EIDE.config/EIDE_reloc and /usr/standalone/i386/boot. I still need to upload the scripts. They are working (80%), they just aren't finished i.e no menu at the beginning to choose what ICHX PCI string to patch.
