This is how to install and run Apple Rhapsody (Titan1U x86 Developer Release 2) in 86box.  This is basically OPENSTEP 5.0.  The last x86 version before MacOS X 1.0  You can find the install ISO and floppies online.  I started with what worked with OPENSTEP 4.2 x86 and found that the video driver and NIC needed to be changed.  The Adaptec SCSI card is optional.  You only need it if you want to attach additional SCSI CD-ROMs or Hard Drive images.

I tried it in qemu.  As with NeXTSTEP 3.3 and OPENSTEP 4.2, the IDE drivers don't work and there is no SCSI driver that qemu supports.

Interested in your choice of Rhapsody DR2? Do you use it for Java or is there some specific app you like?
