Anyone aware of existing cap kits being sold for any of the various MegaPixel displays? I have one N4000A and an N4001, both of which I'd like to recap just for their best possible health.
Granted, I'm not sure the N4000A works yet (just picked it up yesterday), but I'm a day or so away from having a functional cable (I hope) to give it a whirl.
I don't know of any kits, but this site has cap lists for both displays that I just used to recap a 4000A:
http://www.asterontech.com/Asterontech/NeXT_MegaPixel_Restore.htmlI just found equivalents for caps that weren't in-stock at Mouser, and I used 25V tantalum polymers instead of ceramics to replace the SMD caps on the 4000A's sound board since I already had a few of those.
