There seems to be at least two versions:

On the Peanuts Update CDROM for black NeXT only: NEXTSTEP/unix/games/infocom/frotz.2.01.N.b.tar.gz

When I try to run the version from frotz-2.43d.NIHS.pkg.tgz , with frotz AMFV.DAT, I get:

error opening terminal vt100.
