Hello all,
I've seen some older messages here that cover this topic - but nevertheless I am hitting a wall.
My use case is very simple - direct connection to a serial console server. 9600 8N1 nothing fancy.
Here is what I have tried and the results:
TipTop: This actually works ! However the demo mode will only run for 13 minutes. Anyone have a reg. code for this ?
MicroPhone Pro: I remember using this on a Mac in the 90s. The NeXT version won't even run past prompting for license info (anyone have this ?)
tip: Like old school tip. I figured tip a9600 would work - but it just sits there. I tried pointing it to port cufa but that didn't work either (btw: what is port cufa ?). Even worse it seems if I make tip unhappy and it hangs, it can't be killed with -9 and the machine won't power down all the way. I've done two fsck's so far :o and I'd really like to avoid this again.
So does anyone have some magic for any of these 3 options ? Or a different option altogether ?
In Linux land I am still partial to minicom. If there is a package for NS 3.3 for this that would be wonderful...

Yes it probably would. I looked for it and didn't even think to check the project's offical site. Thanks.

Holy moly did not expect someone to have this - it works ! Thank you so much.
For posterity (just in case the unthinkable happens and postimg.cc doesn't last until the heat death of the universe...), the serial key in the images posted is:
