Title: Disable auto boot ?

In the Sun OBP world I have my machines with "auto-boot? false". This way I can dual boot easily without trying to spam STOP-A to interrupt things.

Is there an equivalent in the NeXT world ?  For now I have the boot device set to just "()" and this makes it error out (so essentially the behavior I wanted) but I was curious if there was an official / more elegant value to put here ?

Thanks.

That's the only way I know to do it. You can also loop the POST process until a keypress as well, but that's probably not what you're after.

Related question - is the auto-power-on setting editable from the console?
I think I accidentally managed to set that on (or damaged the power-on circuit), but as I don't have a monitor I've only got a serial console / telnet to poke at.
