The Cube has a number of scratches on the top of case, and when I tried to boot it yesterday it looks like the hard drive has failed as a prompt appeared asking to insert a disk.
The rubber feet on the front base of the monitor have perished and disintegrated.
The monitor shows very little appearance of dimming.
The system was all working fine the previous time I booted it so it might be possible to resurrect the hard drive.
